ヴィーガンハンバーガー

こんにちは！CENスタッフのAyumiです！

最近、日本でも動物性の食材を使っていないベジタリアンやヴィーガンフードのお店が増えているのを知っていますか？

新大久保や新宿周辺にもいくつかお店があり、先日行ってきました！

ここHOTEL CENから徒歩4分のところにあるAIN SOPH.ripple(アインソフリプル）というハンバーガー屋さん。

ちょっと見つけずらいけど、職安通りに面してる「富士そば」の隣に入口があります！

見てもわかる通り、外国人のお客さんばかりで、なんと日本人は私だけでした。

オーダーしたのは「リプルバーガー」と「ファラフェルバーガー」と「チーズフレンチフライ」。

なんとか空いたカウンターに座れましたが、テイクアウトや外で立ち食いしている人達もいて人気具合が伝わります。

15分ほどでリプルバーガーとポテトきたー！！

見た目は普通にお肉を使っているようなハンバーガー！

でもパティはマッシュルームやこんにゃく、ソイミートなどで作られているので、お肉は一切使っていません。

ポテトにかかっているチーズもヴィーガンチーズと呼ばれるもので、乳製品が入っていません。

味もとてもしっかりしていて、満足感がすごい！

ファラフェルバーガーはニンニクのフムス(ヒヨコ豆のペースト)が効いていて、がっつり系の味！

ちなみにファラフェルは中東で食べられている伝統料理で、ヒヨコ豆のコロッケです。

CENからとても近いので、ぜひ足を運んでみてはいかがですか？

テイクアウトも出来るようなので、夏から秋にかけては公園で食べるのも良さそうですね♥

Recently it’s getting easy to find vegetarian or vegan restaurants in Japan and there are some in Shinjuku and Shin-okubo area as well!

I went to vegan burger cafe called “AIN SOPH.ripple” last week.

It’s little bit hard to find but right next to “Fuji soba” on Shokuan Street.

As you can see on this photo, the customers were all western people and I was the only Japanese while I was there.

It was really busy on friday night and some groups were eating outside standing or made it to go. How popular they are!

About 15 minutes later, we got “Ripple burger” , “Falafel burger” and “French fries with cheese”♥

Patty is made with soy meat, mushrooms and vegetables, of course no meat!!

Also the cheese sauce on french fries is made with vegan cheese which doesn’t contain dairies but it was so cheesy!

Do you know what the “Falafel” is?

It’s a chickpea croquette and traditional food in the Middle east. (I loved it when I traveled Israel♡)

As it has humus with garlic underneath the Falafels, it taste really rich and strong so even non-vegetarian can enjoy it!

It’s located very close to our HOTEL CEN, so why don’t you grab them for your lunch today or make them to go for picnic at the park?
